And I'm good with their conclusion. Again, this was more about the TDS remark than anything specific going forward regarding Thomas. The prior investigations into Thomas regarding his financial disclosures were, imo, warranted. That appears to be supported by his amendments and the adoption of new ethical rules for the SCOTUS that more clearly define what has to be reported.

When pressed, the “gift” you allege was lodging and food at a private club. Yet the chart you posted claims Thomas received 2.4MM in gifts. Is that the value you assign to the lodging and meals or were you being intentionally deceitful because Thomas triggers you?

You’re missing the whole point of the disclosure rules. Has nothing to do with IRS law. Never said he broke any law. Never said he should have recused himself on any case.
The disclosures are there so you know in advance if there are potential conflicts. After the initial reporting was done on all the trips Thomas took with Crow, the rules were updated to be even more clear that those trips should be disclosed.
