Wouldn't a fed judge have blocked this since they have the best interests of the American people at heart.
Can you articulate why you think this is necessarily a bad thing?

Tesla wouldn't exist were it not for these types of loans
And people keep forgetting that part. They're loans that are to be repaid. This isn't a handout. If these loans can create another Tesla level company then they're well worth it. Energy dominance is very important. And it requires all forms of energy to maintain energy dominance.

ahh, I see you left these out..

One would think if they can block one president from saving the US citizens money, they could block another from wasting it.
Surely if you are going to overstep you can do it when it is the right thing to do for citizens?

Yes...because IT'S A frickING LOAN

Yes...because IT'S A frickING LOAN
And we've seen plenty of these "loans".
They'll be out of business by June and the money pocketed.
ETA: and do you know for a fact they followed the [due] process for getting those size loans in less than 3 months from scratch?

Yes. And it's been a hyper successful program
And energy is of the upmost importance right now especially with our technology war with China
Anyone that wants this shite reversed is the dumbest person ever

I’m going to need blood pressure medication if this is true.

Yes. And it's been a hyper successful program

How about Tesla? The success of that displaces dozens of solyndras
Posted on 5/11/25 at 5:27 pm to prplngldtigr
Ducking lawyers it's always the ducking lawyers doing this shite. Why we allow lawyers to run for public office anymore is beyond me. No lawyers in DC period!
Posted on 5/11/25 at 5:29 pm to Chief One Word
Yeah we wouldn't want anyone that understands the law to be involved in crafting legislation.

DOJ should investigate all parties to ensure the proper processes were followed on such a short time span and exactly how many of those TINs are connected to Democratic party leadership.
You should be heartily behind this with this new-found liberal process obsession that approaches, but falls short, of the obsession with mutilating children and murdering babies.

Have you even bothered to read the article and see where any of the money went? Or are you just melting because someone told you to?

Have you even bothered to read the article and see where any of the money went? Or are you just melting because someone told you to?
But anyway, so exactly where did these loans if you read the article? Be specific. How long have those companies been in business and do they make a profit?
What was the rate of loan disbursements from this program prior to Biden's last three months (we know it was $31 billion per month in those last 3 months)? Is this a major departure?

So you didn't bother to read the article. Just like I thought.

Yeah. Now what?

Tick tock..... don't go look it up now.
Quit googling... answer.
Ok, since you obviously don't know I'll rephrase the question: did any of it go to colleges and not even businesses?

DOE has solid portfolio performance from this program even with some of the disasters like Solyndra.

There are a number of projects, not all of which are included in the article
Some of them certainly add benefit to the power grid and EV vehicle production and all of them create jobs
The title of the OP claiming that all of this money was "stolen" even though these are loans is completely asinine and everyone freaking out about it has no clue what they're talking about
