Yeah, he should have let Thune carry this through the Senate to show the same strong leadership he showed on the SAVE act. Oh, wait….

Idiots. The ONLY way he’s been able to accomplish anything with all the obstructionists from his own party thwarting him to to bypass them completely.

Didn't Trump say taxpayers were going to get Tariff checks? Is this going to be like when we didn't get DOGE checks?

What you expected the judge to do, order Trump to personally write and sign every check like in the movie the Jerk.

You do know they are still assessing Tariffs, right? SCOTUS gave Trump green light on most of the Tariffs

Trump never lacked the ability to issue tariffs legally. The USSC didn't "give" him anything.

The so called payment back will be interesting as companies have to show their losses and not passed on forward to customers. If customers were charged higher prices due to tariffs then those compare not able to collect

"We had a SETBACK with the Supreme Court...because of what they did, we have to pay $165 BILLION DOLLARS!"

I don't want a stimulus you dumb frick, I want the inflated difference from when companies charged me for tariffs.

Only an idiot would be ok with the Government collecting the tariffs, companies raising prices because of it, and then the companies getting reimbursed by the taxpayers, while the Government still has the money.

You are special kind of stupid.

You only support the checks-and-balances system — which, by the way, was established by our funding principles — when it's not your favored leader attempting to bend it to his will.

The problem with the White House is when they want to do something they just up and do it rather than going through the right process. Not everything can be done by Trump just signing a paper and calling it an executive order - go do it.

Think through the current state of both parties in congress, and then come to the conclusion on why he did it via EO. Republicans are too chicken shite to put their name on anything. Everyone screams term limits but the people are the term limits. Look at our long standing members of the LA delegation. Louisiana has the fricking speaker of the house AND the majority leader in its delegation and frick all has been accomplished.

No shite slow. My point is he did it knowing congress would never act.perhaps he had some kind of initial glimmer of hope that they would codify the EO through legislation, but they've accomplished nothing so far.

You don't always have to act like you're the smartest person in the room, people would be much more willing to engage in conversation if you weren't always trying to play gotcha or be a contrarian.
