Apparently our housekeeper relayed same to my wife. I feigned sympathy but was pissed that she cried to my wife for an hour and that my wife paid her extra.

My Venezuelan and Mexican coworkers and friends actually like ICE. Because, they're legal. They have no fear. If they are somewhere illegals get picked up, everyone will likely get ID checked. That's how it generally goes w crimes.
