They were only friends to Comey to the extent they thought he could do damage to Trump. Now that he's not that harsh on Trump and can't tell the same story two days in a row, he's again becoming the guy who hurt Hillary's chances (in their view).

Tapper is an objectively good interviewer. He’s one of the few who has moral integrity and doesn’t give two shits if his interviewee is on his so-called “side”.

Later that week, he raped and left the Pussy Sheriff for dead in a ditch. I can accept some mistakes if they gloriously retract it and prove why they were wrong in the first place.
It’s why I don’t take Van Jones’ “whitelash” comment seriously, since he did a huge piece on people who voted for Obama but then voted for Trump. He woke up the next morning, realized what he said was totally full of shite, and then proceeded to make it right. People frick up. We’re human.

Fair enough, in all honesty I did forget that he went back on him a couple days later. Even so I don't think is a full absolution because it didn't reach near the audience that the town hall did...but regardless you make a good point. Tip of the hat sir.

Tapper pissed me off during the election a lot, but i find when he's not purely covering politics i like him. maybe my favorite on CNN.
hell when Cooper is just reporting on things and not putting his personal opinion on it he's a damn fine journalist as well.

I think Van Jones and Jake Tapper mean well and want to do what is morally right, but guys like Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo are company men and have no integrity whatsoever. The Democrats can do anything and be better than any Republican and Republicans can do everything right and be painted red by them. They’re awful people who actively want to split the people. Van and Tapper will give credit when credit is due.
