ANA = Afghan National Army
Northern Alliance = Resistance Group.
Northern Alliance used to be a thing against Taliban back in 2001. It's a group of warlords that opposed the Taliban. US paid them a shite ton of money back in the day.
The only issue with the Northern Alliance is that Afghans in general switch allegiances at every opportunity to get more money.
