Syria had no strategic value after Russia is no longer supplying gas to Europe and is focused on China and their future growing needs for expanding their industrial base after the collapse of manufacturing in Europe.

Oreshnik is not a nuclear weapon. It can have conventional war heads
It has hit radius of 90-250 m. That makes it useless when trying to hit a pipeline with a diameter 5 feet. Russia might be able to hit a pumping station on the pipeline with a conventional warhead but it can't hit a pipeline.

If tweet fails to load, click here. You are either the dumbest person in history or a Russian bot. You do realize that a ship can't reach the Mediterranean and threaten NATO if it is in the Red Sea. Any warship trying will have to spend 12-16 hours going through the Suez Canal which will make them a sitting duck for NATO exiting the canal. Also Egypt can deny them transit. A base in Sudan does not replace the need for a base in Syria.
