How did Israel ruin diplomatic efforts? The US tried for 2 months to get a diplomatic solution, and Iran wasn't interested.

It seems that Iran did a theatrical counter attack and now the US isn't looking to strike again. Will that change? Maybe if circumstances change. But as of now, we are not at war with Iran and our involvement was to do what no other nation was capable of doing.

I'd absolutely love to see those assets protecting our troops in the Middle East, but I wasn't given $100M by Miriam Adelson and another $150M from other Israeli backers.
And I know exactly how First Term Trump would have handled Iran's nuclear program, because we saw it with how he dealt with KJU and North Korea. Maybe that would have been different if the South Korean lobby would have financed his 2016 campaign.

With that said it looks like Trump was sincere in his message to Iran about no nukes and couldn't be goaded into more kinetic action leading to boots on the ground which I've said was my redline.
