What are the chances the guards and 2 inmates are all trying to pull a big scam together. State settles for a couple mil and they split it up evenly. Easy money

Prison shouldn't put a transgender convict in a cell with a violent rapist.
That’s possibly the case. But you’re actually the small minded one here.
1) Prisons are having to deal with this new trans movement explosion. They are on the front line of the issue, and it’s complicated. The number of trans inmates is skyrocketing.
2) Any inmate is a potential rapist, and most of the prison rapes aren’t committed by convicted rapists. Furthermore, many convicted rapists aren’t really the ones who are the highest risk of committing same sex rapes.
3) There are many transgenders and transexuals in prisons who are also rapists.
4) Just because a lawyer files a lawsuit doesn’t mean that a) it happened just like they alleged, or b) there is anything that could have been done differently, or c) even if something different should have been done, the requested solution is plausible or even possible.

Why? Are they supposed to put them up at the local spa and make sure they have mints on their pillows at night? Bad people are in prison, this isn't the local jail. People in prison do bad shite, don't get thrown in there if you want to avoid arduous circumstances.
Also, prisoners say all kinds of trash to try and get guards to make life better for them. Are guards expected to start combing through the prisoners' records now to know what certain inmates did, how they "identify", or who should "room" with who? That's asking a lot for people who put their lives at stake for very little pay. The average salary for a Correctional Officer nationwide is just under $32k/yr.

Is that a she as in a he or did they use the biological birth gender? I wish they would state these facts.

I am a bit confused about the point you want to make.
Do you contend that it is a GOOD idea to take a person who acts, looks and dresses female (regardless of X-chromosome count) and put that person in a locked cell with a person previously-convicted of raping and killing females?
Regardless of how one feels about MTF transgenders, that strikes me as a recipe for disaster.

A prisoner being raped is a big story now?
Only when the victim wears a wig. Otherwise it's ok

Prison as practiced in the US is a recipe for disaster, period. It's not like rapes are uncommon; I don't know why this is special because he's a tranny.
