I answered the question with the CDC Wonder system. You may check behind me.
And I provided an article discussing the CDC overdose data, which includes the orginal CDC source. There were 0 overdoses from marijuana in 2014 and 0 overdoses in 2015.
quote:

The car had zero effect on any human to run over anybody. MJ had a chemical reaction within a human body that resulted in the person jumping.

That's 2 entirely different things. You are more than stretching with that "point"
A death is a death. It matters.
quote:

The CDC disagrees with you. You are running from one thing to another...
No it doesn't. People aren't overdosing from marijuana.
quote:

First you tried to push away from the fact that MJ related deaths was not what was asked for.
It wasn't. It specifically said OVERDOSE, and you proceeded to cite traffic accidents, most of which were just accidents.
quote:

So you demanded an answer on OD deaths. I gave you that, and now you are running to Odoul's.
You didn't give anything. You said the CDC has information regarding overdoses. I found the CDC information regarding overdoses. There weren't any overdoses in 2014 or 2015.

You are a liar.

In 2015, the rate of absolutely zero deaths from a marijuana overdose remained steady from the year before, according to figures released in December by the Centers for Disease Control.
Is 0 overdoses too high?

Interesting that you posted a Huffo article and then did not even attempt to verify what they stated.

Clicking a the link they gave within their article...

LINK

We will start with the opening paragraph.

quote:

However, the National Center for Health Statistics at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention does collect information on many of the more commonly used drugs. The CDC also has a searchable database, called CDC Wonder.

As I stated... Go use the CDC Wonder... because their link has no details on MJ. Not one ounce on it.

In other words, the Huffo did what they always do. Absence of information does not equal no data.

Continuing with their link...the charts provided:

?National Overdose Deaths—Number of Deaths from Opioid Drugs. (Is MJ an opioid?)

?National Overdose Deaths—Number of Deaths from Prescription Opioid Pain Relievers (does that cover MJ)

National Overdose Deaths—Number of Deaths from Heroin. (Is that MJ)

?National Overdose Deaths—Number of Deaths from Heroin and Non-Methadone Synthetics(Is this MJ)

?National Overdose Deaths—Number of Deaths from Benzodiazepines (MJ?? Is that you?)

National Overdose Deaths—Number of Deaths from Cocaine.. (No MJ there)

National Overdose Deaths—Number of Deaths from Benzodiazepines (... oh MJ... where are you)

See how easily you were READY and WILLING to be duped?

The article linked to a search that did not include T40.7. You were willfully duped.

Run a search on the system. See for yourself rather than not really looking at what you post becuase you want it to be true.

quote:

It wasn't. It specifically said OVERDOSE, and you proceeded to cite traffic accidents, most of which were just accidents.

That's not true. Sorry. I understand you don't like the results, but they are what they are.

quote:

You didn't give anything. You said the CDC has information regarding overdoses.

I certainly did. CDC Wonder. LINK

All you have to do is agree to the terms and search until your heart is content.

quote:

I found the CDC information regarding overdoses. There weren't any overdoses in 2014 or 2015.

No, you found a huffo article that told you that. But when you follow their link, it says NOTHING about MJ. That's because the search did NOT include it.

quote:

You are a liar

No... I'm pointing out that your on link does not support what you claimed. I listed EVERY chart their link pointed to. Not one was about MJ... because it was not included in their search.

So is this where I get to call you a liar or are you capable of having a conversation with out playground tactics?

The cdc wonder sytem has a lot of information. Its not easy to work either.

I doubled checked you. You rounded up. It was few less than 300 overdose deaths in 2014.

It also showed a high increase since 2009. Almost trippled.

No. The article linked refers to OVERDOSE DEATHS. T40.7 refers to: ICD10 Codes
quote:

Poisoning by cannabis (derivatives), accidental (unintentional)
Drug poisoning =/= death.

But I see what you're doing. We were discussing overdose deaths, but if you are referring solely to Overdosing, which is just simply ingesting more than the safe amount of a substance, then yes people can overdose.

People aren't dying from marijuana overdosing though, it's essentially impossible to ingest enough to reach LD50.

quote:

No... I'm pointing out that your on link does not support what you claimed. I listed EVERY chart their link pointed to. Not one was about MJ... because it was not included in their search.
It's because nobody died from a marijuana overdose, despite being the most used drug. People can "overdose," but they aren't dying from it.

I shouldn't have said liar since it's apparently just ignorance.

Thats not true buckeye. T40.7 is for cannabis, but you you set the system up for deaths, you get a little less than 300 due to cannabis posioning.

The Wonder system contains every death certificate. When you set it for underlying deaths and use the codes to direct the system to cannabis, it searches all records for the given parameters. In this case, years.

I also looked at your link. They did not use the MCD code.

Anyone who tries to preach from their high (lol) horse about how "dangerous" weed is, is absolutely a massive hypocrite.

Caffeine. Addy. Vyvanse. Pain meds. Cough syrup. Fast food. Processed food.

All of these things can kill you far easier than smoking weed. All of these things are given to CHILDREN at a substantial rate. Little timmy better not smoke weed! But by God are we gonna load his arse up with Addy, caffeine, fast food, processed good, cough syrup, etc like it's no tomorrow!

BUT THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!

Lmao. The world would be better if more people smoked a little weed.

Lots of dumb shits left their sarcasm meter at home tonight apparently.

What exactly would be the lethal limit of blood in someone's THC?

Addy is prescription only and the only and a Amphetamine/dextroamphetamine. to keep the argument with apples to apples... I'm ok with medical MJ. I'm not ok selling the drug to the public that's wonderful and safe when it's not.

Vyvanse.. and pain meds... same as addy. Both are prescription ..

Cough syrup

Seriously go there... please.

Fast food.

Not mood altering.

Processed food.

Not mood altering nor addictive. It does not make you want to jump off buildings. etc etc.

quote:

Caffeine.

Talks of regulating it are on. Caffeine powder has caused deaths. 1 tsp equals 25 cups of coffee.

It's been suggested that the lethal dose would be 15 grams of MJ. THC levels vary though.

Blood... (180–315 µg/L)

If Hartung is correct, the LD50 for humans is 30 mg/kg 2 grams of pure THC would kill a 150 pound man 50% of the time.

That =s .35 ounces of high grade MJ with 20% THC. Wax, dab, hash oils readily available in streets can contain 80% THC. That means 1/10th an ounce contains a lethal half dose.

Well..Idk about you but ya ever listen to the side effects of many prescription drugs?

Vyvanse.. and pain meds... same as addy. Both are prescription ..

And all of these are absolutely HORRIBLE for you. How many deaths occur each year due to pain meds? A frick ton more than weed.

Cough syrup Seriously go there... please.

Hmm. Are you saying cough syrup can't kill you? Go chug a bottle of rx cough syrup. I'll smoke an Oz of weed. Let's see who ends up in the hospital.

Not mood altering? Really? Hm. So if I'm hungry and I eat mcdonalds, my mood doesn't improve?

Also. Fast food and processed food lead to heart disease and several other horrible health ailments.

Guess what doesn't?

Weed.

And yet (damn near) every child over the age of 5 gets their daily caffeine fix.

Why not just say 1/5 an Oz (5.6 grams) of "High grade" wax?

Also, I can promise you this is not true. As I've gone through a quarter Oz of wax in a day. (7 grams)

Got Hugh as frick and watched the office for 10 hours, but didn't get sick. Didn't die.

All bullshite aside. ill gladly go buy a qo of wax, and you can pick ANY prescription pain pill, Addy, vyvanse, or even rx cough syrup. You do the equivalent amount (I.e. Enough to kill a 150lb man "50%" of the time) of that substance.

Let's see who makes it through the day. Cuz I guarantee I will. Not so sure about you. But I do know without a shadow of a doubt that you'd be far worse off than my high arse.

But hey. Mary Jane is the debil!
