This is hilarious. She comments that they love to remind her that she's in a red state which implies her students know her political leanings. Students shouldn't know the political beliefs of their educators. Looks like she's pissed they didn't take too kindly to her shoving her views down their throats.

True statement. I wouldn't care what issues they are preaching on. Does it have to do with algebra? If not, then it shouldn't be in math class.
However, I think that this particular teacher would come up with equations related to votes or something. Probably no way to get around it with her.

I'm going to assume this as well. I remember not knowing where my teachers were from or what their political affiliations were. I'm betting these kids didn't have that luxury and decided to have a little fun on the way out.
Kids can be monsters without provocation (in fact, I remember my classmates make a substitute cry one time in shop for no reason), but that was just general misbehavior/disobedience.
This is much more specifically tailored to her: her home state, what I assume is her NFL team (
), and Trump and his agenda. This leads me to assume that the students were familiar with all of these things and decided to go for the gold in antagonizing her.

I’m just going to go out on a limb and assume that the kids have had to hear from her about how bad Trump is, how racist he is, etc. and are just responding. She can dish it out but can’t take it.
ETA- Maybe she should take a job in the inner city where she’ll have to worry about much more than this.
