A student government campaign at Western Kentucky University was temporarily suspended for using the controversial “Pepe the Frog” meme in campaign advertisements.

A picture obtained by Red Alert Politics shows that the school’s “MEA” campaign, standing for the initials of three students running for the student government’s executive team, chalked an image of Pepe the Frog on campus next to a word bubble stating “MEA for SGA.”

The campaign, consisting of students Stephen Mayer, Garrett Edmonds, and Harper Anderson, announced Tuesdaythat the Student Government Association’s Judicial Council had “disqualified” them and had all of its votes “nullified

Please, please, please keep this shite up lefties. Is why you're getting curb stomped.

Can’t beat them at the ballot box? Disqualify them and all their votes.

It’s the Iranian way, along with requiring that all candidates be “approved” by the mullahs to even run.

if only there was a way for the students to determine if this is acceptable or not...perhaps they could take count of who supports this campaign, who is against it, tally the numbers, and then make the determination from there?

To be fair, Pepe was a bit rapey, he probably just reminded the school Administrators of Bill Clinton and they were having none of it.

They did. They disqualified all the votes that supported it.

Play racist games, get your votes tossed.

Sounds right.

Now if they were Lefties, some well funded attorneys would come in from nowhere and multiple lawsuits would be filed in previously selected court venues with friendly judges.

No. It sounds wrong as hell. If it is offensive, they will lose the election. If it isnt offensive, then it will be a non factor.

Not at all. If the school wants to disqualify candidates for using racist representations, then that's the school's business.

Don't be racist next time, kids.

Then what is the point of the election? Why doesnt the school just appoint SGA reps? And who is to say that isnt an accurate representation of WKU students and whom they want representing them?

Don't be racist next time, kids.

You act as if there's an objective definition for racism, which there isn't and never will be. These policies incentivize the complete disenfranchisement of views with which you disagree under the guise of protecting people from racist advertising.
