No one should be allowed to forget that Stretchin Gretchen‘s husband tried the “do you know who my wife is“ line when trying to get the families boat out of the marina dock.

Another on the list of rules for thee, not for me attitude from such a stunning and brave woman.

From a group located in Massachusetts that also gave Mitt Romney an award for standing up to Republicans and Trump. Nuff said.

Gave my superintendent Doris Voitier an award too...

They should give her a Noble Peace Prize. Those things are just as meaningless as the Courage Award, but more people have heard of the NPP. I think Prize sounds more important the Award anyway.

This is an excellent illustration of how their game is played; how they manipulate public opinion. I can't believe I never realized this prior to 2016.

Gretchen the Michigan governor?

The same Michigan that has consistently been one of the worst performing states in the country when it comes to COVID cases and deaths?

That Michigan?

I guess you really have to be brave, or stupid, or both, to continue with the same policies that don't work.

What a fricking joke.

This is a participation trophy, nothing more! This is a “you were a good girl and did what we told you to do” handout!

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will receive the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation’s Special Profile in Courage Award for her pandemic response despite a recent surge in coronavirus cases.

Personally, I'm very happy for Whitmer and I can only hope that she mirrors Kennedy's term more and more. *crosses fingers*

Yep. They went above and beyond the mandate that they set for everyone else. You stay home and we are going to the lake. Real hero there.

Michigan's @GovWhitmer is one of seven people who will be honored by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation for risking their own health and safety to protect others during the pandemic. LINK

Award to be given at her vacation spot in Florida.

Our governor is winning a lot of awards lately. I heard she won a job creator award for Indiana & Ohio, as well as a real estate award for Florida. ??

Thank you to @FoxNews for inviting me on Fox and Friends this morning. I’ll be on @OutnumberedFNC today, tune in at 12PM! ?????? pic.twitter.com/9w6t70fXwX

She'd be more deserving of an award presented by the Lee Harvey Oswald Library.

“In the face of backlash and threats, @GovWhitmer invoked emergency powers to contain the spread of the virus, issuing early, controversial orders to close schools and businesses, mandate mask wearing, and ban large gatherings, among other measures to keep people safe,” the JFK library said of Whitmer on Tuesday. "These heroes went above and beyond for their community and our country, and remind us that we all can make a difference if we answer the call to serve," Jack Schlossberg, who will present the awards with his mother Caroline Kennedy on May 26, said.

“Curiously absent” is the outcome of her actions and how those propelled Michigan to amazing data in controlling the spread and death rates due to Coronavirus.
