Straw Poll: Trump's VP selection in 2024

We know it won't be Pence.
We'll assume Trump is able to navigate potential legal issues and that the 2024 Republican presidential primary is just a formality. Reality suggests that ultimately none of the current candidates in the field, including BDR, can ultimately win.
CPAC this week provided the stage for potential candidates to audition for the job.
I'd bet the likelihood, in this order, would be:
1. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
2. Kari Lake
I don't see any others on the horizon.
Boebert's recent suggestion of considering Matt Gaetz is laughable. I don't think there's going to be a "kiss and make up" with Nimarata Nikki Haley. And I'm not sure with the current tenor and growing animosity with DeSantis, that's in the cards either.
So, who ya got?

Someone that’s at least electable. Tim Scott?

That would be a disaster
Trump would have a very hard time getting anyone credible to be his VP.

Hawley,Cruz, Paul, Desantis ,Lake, B.Donald
And yes I know about the same state issue. Could easily be worked around.

And just like that, DeSantis is now persona non grata among the Trump cult lmao

I'm not judging the fitness to serve of any of the potential candidates. Just throwing it out there as to who the board "THINKS" will be the candidate, "sanity" or not. It'll obviously be a debatable topic for many months to come.
I'd personally think Haley would provide some balance, experience etc. Being a relatively younger female would help. I think Trump expects absolute fealty so that nixes her probably. And she doesn't have that "sizzle factor" anyway.
DeSantis would create a Republican "Dream Team" in terms of sizzle factor, but I don't see their egos meshing personally as well. Maybe that changes.

John Gibbs?
Kinda of an unknown outside of the America First movement.
Gibbs would provide a much needed counter balance to Trump's in your face personality. Gibbs attended Stanford and Harvard, worked for Apple as a software engineer, helped roll out the first generation IPhones. Gibbs left Apple to devote his time to missionary work in Japan.
Gibbs previously worked at HUD during the Trump administration so he knows exactly what he's facing if he were to be selected as Trump's VP candidate.
Another reason to believe Gibbs would be a great America First VP candidate is Wikipedia absolutely hates him and that carries a lot of weight.
From Wikipedia......
This ^^^^ alone qualifies him to be a serious consideration as Trump's VP candidate.
Wearing a Trump approved MAGA blue suit and red tie..
Another ^^^^ legit reason.

Political commentary Edit Gibbs is a far-right conspiracy theorist;[7] he has a history of making false, inflammatory, and conspiratorial remarks on his Twitter feed,[8][9] including numerous tweets promoting fringe concepts and figures.[10] On four occasions, he spread the false conspiracy theory that John Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, took part in a "Satanic ritual," a claim propagated by far-right bloggers.[8][11] In October 2016, Gibbs defended an alt-right figure who had frequently posted anti-Semitic comments and had been banned from Twitter.[8][11] In early-2016, Gibbs used the term "cucks" (a derogatory word applied by the far-right to attack moderate Republicans); he has also attacked Democrats as the party of "Islam, gender-bending, anti-police."[8][11] In a July 2020 interview with the Washington Examiner, in response to criticism of his past remarks, he said, "I don't really see anything to apologize for."[12] In later Senate testimony, he said, "I regret that it's unfortunately become an issue."[13]

Paul or Cruz

A Trump/DeSantis card destroys team Biden. It also sets up the presidency in 2028 and 2032.
