Well, if you are just a cheerleader for one party or the other, I would say trump's victory is a moral one more than an actual one.
He is getting almost nothing done while doing long term possibly irreparable damage to the GOP brand. He may well be the last GOP president ever considering how terrible he is and demographic shifts. On top of that, it is likely the GOP will lose control of Congress in a few months.
Trump is an unmitigated disaster that the GOP is going to have a very hard time overcoming for a very long time.
