Yes, Donny Trump....the victim. A man that has his own 757. Shits on a gold toilet (or used to) Owned casinos and led them to bankruptcy and was able to get advantageous terms in the bankruptcy. Donny was sooooo victimized that when thing were tough for him financially around 2000, some friends at NBC were able to get him a TV show that helped to raise his profile. Donny was such a victim. A victim,I tell ya!
Then the MAGA crew started believing it

Vote him out of there. It's time. He's compromised. So is Johnson. So is Cassidy.
Might have a shot with Cassidy if closed primaries in Louisiana are solidified by the time he’s up again.
Johnson and Scalise ain’t happening unless they start going off the deep end like Cassidy. I don’t see them starting to behave like him, though, and as a result, they’re in Congress until they decide to leave.
That’s just reality. And to be honest, while this board seems overly pissed at them two, with some of it definitely warranted, they are on the right side of issues (at least voting wise) than the majority of their colleagues. I know that might not be saying much, but it’s what it is.

Now you "true conservatives" are posting memes straight from DU. I guess you couldn't find a hit piece from MSNBC.

"More debt" Yes please."
Holy shite. In a thread where you are literally defending a trillion dollar spending bill, you attack MAGA for increasing the debt. Seriously, dude, it's time to get help. You've lost all connection to reality.

Someone sounds a little PMS'y and jealous. Oh to long for the days of Mittens Romney and Paul Ryan. What utter losers you establishment types have become. You have a problem that Trump benefited from his bankruptcy but no mention of the Rino cronies benefiting from the damage they did to conservatism for decades.
GWB directly led us to Obama due to war mongering and the need to prop up corporate america over the people. Reagan's trickle-down economics has been permanently ruined by these establishment types who passed budgets hellbent on pleasing only fortune 100 companies who then use those dollars to enact left wing ideology to rule the non ruling classes.
Populism has its faults, but right now, it is the perfect antidote for the poisonous Neocon policies being used to keep the ruling class in power. You guys are all a part of that tribe.
We are the new conservative party, and you can thank the old republican guard for that. Get use to it.

What they love is "owning" the Democrats and then creating scapegoats like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell who actually got things done on behalf of Trump but fell out of favor when they would not get on their knees to service him.
McConnell only got Trump EVERYTHING he and the MAGA conservatives said they wanted.
I guess TDS destroys memory as much as it does masculinity. Thankfully, we can read articles written at the time.
quote:
To date, not one major piece of legislation has been taken up that ideologically reflects Trumpism rather than Republican orthodoxy. Congress has not considered immigration restrictions. It hasn’t taken up any protectionist trade legislation. No infrastructure package has moved in either chamber. The one major trade bill Congress did consider was the Russia sanctions bill that reduced the president’s discretion, which Trump opposed.
In the realm of appropriations, Congress has not only ignored Trump’s agenda, but has repeatedly rejected it wholesale. The president’s FY2017 and FY2018 budget requests, both of which called for deep cuts in non-defense discretionary spending, were declared dead on arrival by GOP members. The FY2018 omnibus contained massive increases in non-defense discretionary spending. What wasn’t funded in one of the largest discretionary spending bills in history? Trump’s oft-demanded border wall.
This is one reason that you shouldn’t put much stock in all those vote studies that show congressional Republicans voting with Trump at very high rates. Such studies assume the president is setting the agenda, and that congressional Republicans are choosing whether or not to support the president’s position. But with the agenda being set by congressional leaders and the administration having unusually little influence over the substance of legislation, it makes more sense to view such correlations as Trump’s adopting the Republican position.
There's some nice TDS in the article, so you might enjoy reading it. They repeat a lot of the same lies you do.

It’s incredibly hard to have a representative in Congress that’s relevant much less speaker, minority whip, majority whip or other leading roll.
Scalise and johnson have major rolls.
Collectively, as a state, we ought to be damn proud and supportive

You're not conservative. Not even close. As a movement, you're not even all that smart.
You guys complain about Scalise, etc because they are actually interested in governing and policy. You "new conservatives" if you want to call yourself that are nothing more than arsonists with absolutely NO plan of what to do after you've burned what you claim to hate to the ground.
I wish I could say that makes you idiots, but that would portend you maybe having the essence of a plan. You do not. You don't even know what you want.....as a result you'll make yourself perfect fodder for what the progressives want to do. Congratulations.

Wish Scalise would get some road monies for the Northshore and widen 12 from Slidell all the way to BR

I think what you meant to say was, "they are interested in growing their wealth and enriching themselves at the expense of the American taxpayer".

So that is your excuse for supporting people for office who don't want to think out issues and create policy. " Oh they just want enrich themselves" That just tells me that you are not serious.

So Trump was a weak President who could not use his position to influence Congressional leaders and truly push his agenda. So you want to reward his ineptitude by enjoining him with inept allies in Congress? So I get the blind leading the naked?
Nice

Never seen it better stated.
Its either masochism or blind stupidity, maybe both.

the good ole boy party of Louisiana will let all of them run for office again. Louisiana will vote them in over a D and the shite cycle continues.

I got news for ya. Several of those who you think are “America First” and truly representing you are doing, and having fun with it, the same exact thing.
The more they get fired up about The Swamp on the TV cameras and tweeter, the more their donations increase.

You are under the mistaken impression that I trust them instead of finding them occasionally useful.
The integrity of an elected official is inversely proportional to the number of terms they have served.

Didn't Einstein mention something about insanity as doing the same thing over and over expecting different results?
Your Bush boys led to these results. Are you for huge mega corporations monopolizing influence on policy makers? Your arrogance is greater than Trump's by far! You sound too smart for your own good.
