So, DJT bent Colbert over metaphorically speaking. Colbert guy seems mentally unstable. I wouldn't be surprised he ends up commiting suicide. The guy just wasn't funny. Carson and Leno would make fun of politicians but they were actually funny.

I will never forget when that piece of shite human openly wished for something bad to happen to the economy so it would hurt Trump in 2019. Then, he celebrated when Covid started shutting things down and the economy tanked.

there's not going to be a replacement for colbert, CBS is getting out of the late night game in fairness they came to it late in the game creating a spot for letterman, fox threw in the towel on late night in 94 when they cancelled arsenio hall after entering into the scene 89 with joan rivers. ABC dabbled in the format with dick cavet, then abandoned the format in 1990 with "nightline" from 90 to 2005. with kimmel coming on the scene as a follow up to nightline in 2002. they have a 24 hour news channel called ABC news now i'm guessing they go with that after they get rid of kimmel.

Where I see this story posted elsewhere, leftists are making the claim that CBS was pressured to do this by Trump and caved.
Is there any basis for that at all? I really can't imagine this being a true statement. It isn't like CBS has been in Trump's corner.
