Admitting you are an alter is definitely the correct course of action

No talk of the 25th amendment for Biden and it's been 3 years of his men on physical decline. There's no way Trump is as clean as a claim they could have found out something about him especially in his younger days

I’m not exactly convinced he isn’t in on it, but not because of what you wrote here.

The galvanization of his base seems intentional, and there are too many people in his base to just eliminate as fringe. It’s also largely made up of producers. But the loyalty allows him the longest leash out of any politician.

You see it here, people aren’t wrong to call out his spending, and while I think Covid was a valid reason, it could just as easily be a reasonable excuse.

At the end of the Day I think it’s more reasonable that he’s a smart businessman and found an obvious niche in politics (not unlike Fox News), but he absolutely could be the vessel that flips us to a primarily government spending economy.

My main issue with Trump is that it seems the moment someone disagrees with him, he’s finished with them. He attacks them publicly which ruins any chance of achieving something good on behalf of the American voter.

I agree with this. I wish he would be more open to criticism. Though, 95% of the crap he endures is pure BS. I get overreacting when you face the onslaught he has. He is not perfect by any means. He also is a billionaire that is voluntarily subjecting himself to lawfare. That doesn’t sound like someone on the inside to me. I have no doubt he craves power.

Sometimes it's not even criticism. He cut ties with MO Brooks simply because Mo said that there was no legal way to overturn the election after congress certified it.

At least he finally shut the frick up about those wonderful vaccines he's responsible for.

All the good little Ron bots took the bait. Dems wanted to divide the republicans and boy have they

People like you disparage anyone who says anything positive about DeSantis and use names like "Ronbots" when referring to people who are on the same side as you, and then you blame the democrats for creating the division in the party.

fricking clown world. Trump supporters and DeSantis supporters are on THE SAME GODDAMN SIDE, yet the Trump supporters want to do nothing but dunk on DeSantis supporters.

A sentence that should come out of no Republican's mouth for the time being. Why in the hell would you reach across the aisle to try and work with people who would have you thrown in an extermination camp tomorrow?

And your perception is that the line of criticism you laid out there should be directed exclusively towards Trump supporters, and not equally in both directions? You mention Trump supporters only, as the sole cause of a problem.

Just trying to figure out how much credibility to give your assertion, if any.

I have wondered if, given the relentless legal persecution, he might just get tired enough for his mind to be right.

It's very lopsided on this board in the direction of Trump supporters.

I personally have said multiple times that I supported DeSantis because I lived in Florida while he governed during the covid years. His leadership was phenomenal and I believe that would do well at the national level. Others disagree, and that's fine. I'll happily vote for Trump or Vivek, too.

I'm not sure why that line of thinking gets shite on so much on this board.

I'll certainly sleep less tonight if internet user davyjones doesn't find my viewpoint credible. You've already told me in the past on here that you believe you're much smarter than me and that your political opinions carry more weight. I refuse to associate with anyone who is that full of themselves.

I'm with you on thus. One of those three and I vote GOP.

I do however feel one of the three is far more radical... and anything short of radical isn't likely to were given the near terminal state we are in.

IMO, radical isn't going to win anything right now. The left has spent 60+ years slowly pulling the country in the direction they want it to go. That isn't going to be reversed in one election cycle.

The right needs to win elections to gain power and THEN enact changes. That means putting very divisive issues like abortion, for example, on the backburner for the time being. Win elections, gain power, enact change. It will only happen in that order.

The only problem with that is every fricking issue you are against dems is divisive. If you can't stick to the core issues you've already lost considering half the fricking Republicans won't stick with you anyway
