I would vote for anyone other than Crain. Im voting for Schlegel. Crain is terrible

Voting for a candidate for Supreme Court that hasn’t even served a complete term at the DISTRICT court level is about the stupidest thing you could do.

And that’s not to mention to tens of thousands of dollars he’s received from plaintiff personal injury attorneys.

I think it's amusing to see all the unverified, second-hand accusations of these candidates based on nothing but hearsay. If you believe all of the posts here, then you'll have to vote for an inept, low IQ, no-show, do-nothing, dis-barred, alcoholic, crook.

And we talk about politicians doing more of the same old stuff? The voters and their unverified brow-beating of candidates isn't one bit better. You guys need to be more creative. You're hanging around the barbershop a little too much.

This state blows. Do attorneys/judges have any ethics at all? What a garbage profession. Why do we allow these compromised, corrupt fricksticks to "judge" us? The mechanic down the street is more trustworthy.

??????. So it’s obvious that multiple different people get on TD each day and see a topic about someone that they know so decide to comment about it? I’ve been reading TD for a long time my friend, I just don’t have the time during the day to get on here and trash talk people I don’t know.

I actually have another account that chicken suspended because I posted an article about Matt Morris last year

Okay yeah. Just so happens 3 people happen to read the same thread, register yesterday, and all start posting the same position and content in the same narrow window of time?

You fricking idiot.

After reading the rest of the thread, I've come to the conclusion that this dude created 3 different names just to prop up his candidate. Never have I seen a more obvious alter than in this thread

Not that it matters to you, but I created a profile yesterday (just one, no “alts”) on my own accord, not in response to this thread. Dude, you’re not that important. Get your panties out your self-aggrandizing arse and realize there are people out here that can think for themselves.

Yep, obvious alters. My family is voting for Falconer. To the idiots that try to say we need an outsider with zero political experience over a guy that has too much experience I say good luck selling that.

You fricking idiot do you think anyone believes you all three just happened to notice the thread on the same day, register on the same day and immediately begin the same rapid fire idiot posting styles at the same time? At least you bothered trying to reply separately to throw it off a little.

People here are very shrewd and see this shite every year/cycle. Did you just discover the internet?

You’ve done more harm than good for PM, you fricking idiot. GTFO.

My favorite of the three alters was the one that kept talking about McMath knocking on his door and shaking his hand. If that’s what it takes to get someone’s vote then it’s no wonder guys like Edwin Edwards have succeeded in this state.

Good lord people just focus on a candidates resume, not what they’re claiming they’re going to do for you. Didn’t everyone learn this in middle school?

I’ve worked in a couple of different McMath built buildings over the years. I wouldn’t let McMath build me a doghouse.

I don't get the hate about Brister,

Hate is a strong word. You give her full credit for 190 and 59, but those projects were well underway in terms of planning and design prior to her arrival. Outside funding was the kickstarter. The "innovative" parts were primarily driven by Mark Wright.
To be fair, I didn't think they would "work" (depending on the time of day) as well as they have. Kudos to him.

As for my concerns with her record:

I-12...mic drop. This is on her-fully.

Section 8 housing...coming to your neighborhood soon. See Slidell.

Construction with what seems to be an absolute lack of drainage planning. Most of the issues in Covington stem from developments outside of the city that are under parish control.

Apartments, apartments, and more apartments. These type complexes, and their eventual changeover to section 8 housing, are what killed the west bank imho. Ditto Metarie and Kenner. Explain to me why we want to be the west bank again. I don't get it.

Again...hate is a strong word, as she has done an okay job.

However, okay simply isn't good enough in my view. We should expect more.

I have stated my support for Cooper, but the reality is, I would probably be in the anyone but Brister" column.

Just my .02.

Hey folks, I'm Daniel Ducote and I'm running for the State Senate. My campaign is unique because we have refused to accept money from lobbyists, PACs, special interests, etc. because I want my constituents to know that I'm authentic and completely beholden to just them. I have a budget plan to get rid of all state sales and income taxes. It will require a three-prong tax code, involving a progressive property tax, an ecological tax and a corporate liability tax.

I have a full write-up on the proposal here:

He is abysmal and not well respected at all. Read some of his infamous one word decisions. He is a joke.

If you like corruption then he is your candidate!!

You have failed to post any support whatsoever regarding your claims against Judge Crain. You should back them up or else retract them. We have enough lies in politics and elections as it is.

In the meantime, a compelling endorsement for him.

For those that dont't know, King is the guy that practically spearheaded the effort to take out infamous, corrupt former Coroner, Peter Galvin, which in turn arguably sparked the movement against other corrupt officials that were removed or voted out of office. LINK

Right, bc that mentality didn’t get Trump elected. Falconer is a RINO that only looks out for himself.
