I think their reason for not disclosing the number of signatures has to do with the law suit that will be filed once they send the petition and signatures to the gov.

the questioN, not questions. They have said for the last 5 months they will no longer release #'s. Just because you copied shite from an article doesn't make you an authority. Anyone who was there last night can form their own opinion.

And you would be an idiot. They aren't going to hurt their efforts just to satiate your curiosity. It's called being a leader. They are doing what is best for the effort. The volunteers supporting them all know this, and support the stance. It may aggravate a few people not to know, but I would rather that than give the city any more advantage.
