They ruined spring break in Panama City. I don’t care how they act in Miami it their environment.

Spring Break is getting better in PCB. Mostly just decent kids coming down now!

Had the tv going in the background earlier and heard someone say it is mostly adults causing the trouble, not college kids. No idea if that is true but it is what they were saying.

EDIT.. take back what I said below. Didn't see any of this when I was down. These definitely are "tourists"

I was just down there and Miami is one of the thriving cities in this country.

The Spring Break was fed by ridiculous airline tickets and lots of AirBNB space open. You could fly from ATL for $29..round trip.

Most of the stupidity was locals joining into the normal spring break crowd.

Well, most college "kids" on Spring Break are over the age of 18. That generally tends to mean they're adults.

Then again, I'm not some mealy mouth TV talking head trying to make some point the network or advertisers or govt. agency wants to push to the gullible masses.

In a crowd like that, the absolute last thing I'd worry about catching is Covid.

Honestly live life the way you want it. frick masks go back to normalcy. This charade is over.

I think a few early posters was thinking that I am against spring break. First off I am not, it is truly a cherished tradition for the college kids. If folks would take the time to watch the videos you would see the violence and other shite. Never went to a spring break anywhere where they were burning cars.

Hell Miami even imposed a curfew because of this, not that anybody there listened.

and on twitter some are blaming this on DeSantis...

meanwhile if DeSantis had locked it down, knowing the clientele, they'd call him racist for doing so
