Living in Virginia, specifically western Virginia, has to be so frustrating.
Democrats in Virginia can win the state without ever leaving DC/NOVA, Richmond or the Tidewater area. They can ignore essentially 75% of the state and still win. The vast majority of Virginia west of I-95 is conservative, but it doesn't matter. NOVA and the I-95 corridor is all the Democrats need.
If DC took Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties and became it's own state, Virginia would become a solid red state again with 2 conservative Senators and a guarantee of a conservative Governor.
Whenever I retire, or if I could work remotely, I want to move back up to the mountains at least part of the year. I prefer Virginia or North Carolina, but I hate the idea of being subject to the control of NOVA/Richmond for Virginia or Raleigh/Triange Area for North Carolina.
I'll probably end up looking at West Virginia (Morgantown/North Central, Lewisburg/Greenbrier County or Charles Town/Jefferson County) or eastern Tennessee (Johnson City/Tri-Cities Area).

Agreed. Had it been a progressive gathering, they would have likely assaulted her or shot her in the neck.

Spermburglar campaigned as a moderate. The very first thing she tried to do was disenfranchise the state's Republican population.

Edit: After posting, I saw the comment about her not being invited to event and it being the first time a sitting VA Governor was not invited. So that arrogant commie bitch was gonna' show those inbred redneck pig frickers whose boss, apparently. frick that bitch. I'm starting to wish conservatives would start being as nasty as the left is to their political enemies.
