Speculation on RBG's Cancer

I'm asking for your speculation.
Below I copy-pasted other poster's speculation from the earlier thread.
My speculation is that they are essentially sending her home to die. Yes they will continue to treat her with chemo, but it isn't about curing the cancer. It's about fighting for more life. But I don't think she will make to 2021.
I agree with this. They are treating her with Gemcitabine, which is an anti-cancer ("antineoplastic" or "cytotoxic") chemotherapy drug.
Gemcitabine Is Used For:
• Pancreas cancer
• Non-small cell lung cancer
• Bladder cancer
• Soft-tissue sarcoma
• Metastatic breast cancer
• Ovarian cancer
Note that liver cancer isn't listed. Gemcitabine is the most commonly used drug for late-stage pancreatic cancer.
"Stage 4 pancreatic cancer means the cancer has spread to other organs, typically the liver or the lungs. Cancer can’t be cured at this point, but there are still treatment options.
Treatment during this stage is focused on extending life and improving the quality of life."

I believe she has pancreatic cancer metastasized to the liver not liver cancer.

I believe she has metastatic disease from one of her other primary cancers (i.e. it’s not a primary liver cancer). If it’s her primary neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer then it may respond to her previous chemotherapeutic regimen. If it’s her primary colorectal cancer then this may be short lived.

Chemo twice a week at her age and under her physical condition will kill her faster than the cancer.

If that's the case, this election is about to go to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL.

Setting the over/under on how long it takes the MSM to find some random “conservative” on twitter who posts a “good riddance” message and frame as “all trump supporters” at 6 hours
Once she’s actually gone

Trump will appoint a successor before the election. McConnell has said he would confirm.

Walked out of the office today with a woman who has RBG dolls in her office. She was in pure freakout mode.

I think she has been in palliative care. Will she resign if she is told it is time for hospice care; or wait until she passes?

No way she resigns with a Republican in the White House.

Where have you seen this? Who's reporting her drug treatments?

The cancer is all over her body. it's probably in her brain too.

I said the other day they will keep her alive or on the bench until the end of September or very beginning of October.
Then they will make the last month about not giving Trump a 3rd seat. There is no way he could rush a nomination through in a month.
If he was to lose they would flip if he tried to seat one between Nov-January.

See the link above in my OP. RBG said "I began a course of chemotherapy (Gemcitabine)..."

That cancer has been there her whole life.

She claims it hasn't effected her performance on the court.
Yeah, I'm sure she was up at 2am for that execution vote. She hasn't been able to stay awake at a State of Union in years.
Can't die soon enough as she won't step down even if she's on a ventilator.

I agree the dems will try like the devil to keep her alive-even offer to donate organs like they have in the past.
Last time this came up; a past Supreme court justice's history came up that they died in service as a Justice knowingly with --I think it was cancer--.
What are the courts protocols? If she is in hospice with not long to live, will it be announced? Would this be her choice or is there a protocol of a courtesy of notification to the courts and President?
