Yeap, it's sheer insanity! But, of course, the PM is a socialist, so would expect no more from him!

Not all countries!

Not Poland, not Romania at the very least. I'm a bit surprised by what happened in Hungary but I'm still digesting that.

This is what it's all about. Unfortunately, both Europe and China have failing demographies, so neither can be net importers. There just isn't enough demand in either place to consume all of their production, so they're both trying to push their products onto the other.

I wonder what long-standing alliances they are talking about?

The US funding NATO so Euro countries don't have to spend on national defense or was there something else?

I was told, earlier today possibly, that this wouldn't be happening.

Do tell what does Spain offer China?

You were probably told that nobody useful would grovel to China.

How do we get Spain joined at the hip with China while making them both think it was their idea?

Take Portugal and France with you.

Instead of blaming Spain for acting in their perceived best interests, blame Donald Trump for starting a war that made no sense for anyone but Israel.

Like china is going to trade the American consumer’s ability to spend obnoxious amounts of money to buy their shite while also overlooking the rest of their shortcomings (pollution, treatment of their citizens, etc.) for the broke arse European market and its ungodly holier than thou climate and social regulations.

China probably can’t even sell 90% of the shite they produce to Europe bc it contains red number 2 or 1 part per trillion of lead, or other shite like that.

China knows where their bread is buttered, and it’s not in Europe. Especially w/o America’s golden parachute of economic/military protection.

Oh dear, the pm seems to be confused by where Spain's identity lies. I wonder if he remembers what happens to his deal ol' Espana last time a non-Western power invaded

Apparently, the chinese communists bribed their party comrade sanchez.
