Spain Handed Over Wiretaps to Mueller

Torshin, the Russian we've heard about before in relation to NRA, apparently was picked up on a wiretap talking to another Russian just before that dinner he had at NRA convention where he greeted Don Jr. The Spanish handed it over to Mueller recently.
The beginning of the article tries to imply that it was Junior himself on the wiretap, but if you read on, it was two Russians.
The Spanish were investigating Russian money laundering and happened to catch this convo that somehow relates to Don Jr and NRA. Issikoff did not elaborate on anything that was said, but I find it interesting that it is Issikoff who broke this story (same guy whos reporting came straight from Chris Steele in the past).

Didn't the Mueller team complain about translating Russian? With this story, they'd have to translate Spanish and Russian. That seems a bit over their head.

May or may not be. I will say it's interesting to me how all these wiretaps we hear about are Russians talking to other Russians. It's almost like those Russians are lazy (on purpose) with their communications security. They like to get on their cell phones and chat up a storm about all sorts of nefarious plots they are hatching with Trump.

MSNBC covered it on Joy Reid's show. Only reason I know that is because I came across a video of her opening monologue. I then googled to find the referenced article.
I am not willing to totally dismiss it. It could be, as I have suspected for a long time, that the Russians were up to no good. Context matters. As an example: If two people are talking about how they want to try and encourage me to rob a bank "Yeah, man, I think we can get AUstar to go along with our plan" - this isn't proof that I agreed to it in any way whatsoever (or that I even knew about it).
I suspect if these wiretaps are real, that's what they will reveal. They will show two Russians trying to get close to Junior for whatever reason. If it was the case that Junior was directly involved, we'd have known about it months ago.

Or... it’s more likely that these are just more “staged” wiretaps that were used as an attempt to “create” a crime or evidence of a crime. Just like the Russian lawyer and the Trump Tower meeting.
The comedic irony in all of this is the fact that despite their many attempts at “manufacturing” a crime, they failed to “trip up” a single person in Trumps inner circle of political novices. On the other hand, no telling how much Clinton and her cronies pocketed from shady actors during this same time period.

WELL, THERE ARE 2 WAYS TO LOOK AT THIS:
1. The crazy Leftist way: We caught Don Jr. talking to a Russian. This proves collusion. Let's REDO the election.
2. The person who had been paying attention for the last 16 month's view:

looks like Obama/DOJ and company put spies into POTUS Trump camp illegally and illegally wiretapped him and his associates. Here is yet another example of an illegal wiretap.
The media is going to go crazy reporting this for the next 48-72 hours and then ... A BIG THUD when nothing comes of it.
However, ONCE AGAIN, another example of a confirmed wiretap is admitted to by the MSM.
Rinse and repeat until we fast forward 6 months from now when the media realizes that all these wiretaps that they acklowledge existed WERE ILLEGAL.

The only reason it relates to JR is because one of the Russians planned on attending an NRA sponsored event and had apparantly arranged to speak with several politically connected folks....JR being one of many.
My takeaway was there was a meet and greet at the event (which is pretty standard)....kind of like what some musicians do for concert fans.
Nothingburger is being too generous to describe that article.
