I was surprised but it was an actual enjoyable movie to see in theaters. Disney has handled the stand alone films much better than the anchors of the franchise

What this idiot doesn't realize is that George didn't give birth to anything. The fans did. The fans are the only reason Star Wars was ever a thing and the fans are the only reason Star Wars is still a thing.

they didn't. go see it. it was pretty damn good. a little tropey but solid overall.

There was a pretty damn big online lobby to get Ingruber a shot at the part. I guess he didn’t provide “favors” to the right group of Hollywood financiers.

Agreed. I enjoyed Solo a lot. With the exception of the stupid SJW robot, it was great with a lot of subtle nods to other SW stuff. They even reference the fighting style from that lame PS1 game.
