BATON ROUGE – Southern University is encouraging citizens to make their way to the polls for early voting by offering free rides on Monday, Nov. 4 and Wednesday, Nov. 6.

That’s voter inducement.

So, in order to get a free ride to the polls, you first have to make your way to Southern University?

Why not just make your own way to the polls?

I get what they’re trying to do, but they are not covering their tracks very well here.

I bet they'll turn in your blank ballot too if you can't make it.

There is nothing to cover.

You are free to take a free ride and vote for Rispone.

Right, and Trump coming to LA twice and to the lsu/bama game isn't voter inducement.

If you can get to Southern, why can't you get to the polls?

Better yet, if you can get to Southern why can't you get to the DMV and get a license or Voter ID?

I saw people around Gentilly holding up JBE signs and other signs saying “black votes matter”

Marching orders from the plantation.

The sign at the place I voted said this could be provided for free...I fail to see how this is even and arguable point as some form of voter suppression.

Scary that there are people among us who cannot figure how to get themselves to the polls yet can find their way to SU.
