That would be up to employers, but I imagine there may be a haircut for lesser applicants compared to similarly-situated applicants who did the full degree.
The cream will rise to the top in either scenario in terms of economics. The value of the education is about more than economics, hence the option to split it up between isolated skill/trade training and a well-rounded education (that includes the isolated skill/trade training)

All of the “hate Groups” COMBINED raised a TOTAL of 6 million dollars over that period
