The police, the great majority of police, will never enforce confiscation.

Two reasons. Most LEOs are Constitutionalists.

2ndly, and perhaps more importantly, armed citizens outnumber LEOs in the country rougly 1621:1 ... meaning a minimum of 80 million in this country own firearms of some sort and there are over 300 million privately owned firearms and two trillion rounds of ammunition in the hands of firearms owners.

That's enough guns and ammo to outfit the five largest armies in the world with small arms.

Do you really believe that LEOs want to go up against those odds when, chances are, they wouldn't even be agreeing with a confiscation order?

So it would have to come down to a military back-up plan, or perhaps even a UN attempt under Article 21 which ..... yeah, that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

Nor do I. People trust government WAY to much.

The police can’t control crime currently. Why the frick would one think they would be capable of a large scale confiscation operation? Especially when a significant portion if not a majority would refuse such an order. People are stupid.

Define large scale? Your Rulers already have plenty of laws on the books to confiscate. In fact, you live every second of your life with 500,000 rules-regulations-acts-policies-yada yada yada. 4,500 of them are FELONIES! In which most of you are committing 3 felonies a day (mostly tax related) according to the references I listed above.

When those in power want your stuff, they don't need a "large scale" ban to get them.

To those saying LEO's won't follow orders... precedence negates your flawed opinion. You know the recent examples, I don't need to repeat them here.
