Some info on Glenn Beck's company's performance over the past few years

While the rise of Trump has been a boon for conservative outlets, Beck and The Blaze, his new media company, have struggled to keep pace. Beck’s radio show still reaches an audience of 3.6 million — making it the third most popular talk-radio program — but that’s down from the 9 million listeners it attracted in 2010.
The issues have spilled over online. In November 2014, The Blaze had 27.4 million unique visitors, according to Quantcast, whereas the number for November 2016 was 8.8 million. There have been layoffs, and The Blaze has cycled through four CEOs in two years. Beck downplays the issues at the company, saying that with 234 employees, it has nearly as big a staff as it did when it launched in 2011.
From a Variety article. Beck continues his liberal outreach.

Watch Beck miracously transform into a Trump believer and loose that damn neckerchief over the next four years. He's an opportunist not an actual conservative.

quote:holy shite his audience has really bailed on him.

quote:well he's lost 5 million since the trump stuff started. he lost a chunk of his audience when he was shown the door at fox. being on tv helps radio ratings and vice versa.

I never loved Beck. I don't listen to any of the talk radio guys. Just not my cup of tea. Too shrill and mostly appealing to our most base and lowest instincts.

His whole spew on 'muh principles' bullshite was annoying to listen to.
Where was this when McCuck or Mittens was the nominee?
He really thought he could win some of his audience back by saying he was "Never Hillary" also, but to most people it was impossible to be that way knowing the outcome was going to be one of the two, that McMuffin didn't stand a chance no matter how much he praised him.
It all started when Trump rained on his parade at the Nevada caucus. After that happened he went after Trump harder than most radio talk show host went after hillary.

Pretty much every radio commentator. I'm not sure about Hannity, he seems legitimately angry all the time.

Based on this thread, he's an opportunist that's tanking his business by not getting on board with popular opinion. Kinda sounds like the opposite of an opportunist.

Rush started doing it when it was considered a foolish business decision. I think he gets a bit satirical, but you can't be on the radio for 30 years, consistently on message and not be at least a little center right.
Hannity might be a nationalist at heart, I don't think he really has any principles, which is what makes him such a good businessman and helps his understanding of his audience.
Beck is an opportunist who is fricking nuts. Like "I prayed to Jesus and he told me to dance in the street naked to minister to people" nuts.
Michael berry loves Ted Cruz and talking about Sheila Jackson Lee. He's do it for free.
