I think Boehner will not be Speaker of the House for the next term.

I would like to see someone like Gowdy as Speaker.

Don't you know barry, yancy and the rest of the clowns would be just livid?

Trey Gowdy.

His motto would be, " If we can't whip up their vote, we'll just kick their arse."

No.

Kevin McCarthy is the majority whip. Look for him to make a push.

Kathy Mc Morris Rodgers, WA.

She's already part of Leadership.

And a full-scale war will break out for Majority Whip, with Scalise and Reps. Pete Roskam (R-Ill.), Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), and Pete Sessions (R-Texas) all potentially in that race.

GOP Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), who was in line for the Ways and Means Committee gavel and had already said he wasn’t running for leadership, may have to rethink that stance as well.

Isn't Rogers the one who gave that really awkward State of the Union response address?

Well that statement implies that McCarthy will run for the majority leadership since he is the current whip.

They leap frogged Kathy Mc Morris Rodgers, over more senior and conservative candidates.

Don't be surprised if they do it again.

Yep. But in fairness, what response to SOTU isn't awkward?

I'm no big fan of hers btw.

As #3 and #4 respectively in Leadership, each has managed , for the most part, to escape the wrath that has been heaped upon both Boehner and Cantor, and I could see them both moving up one spot until January 3rd. If Cantor immediately gives up his slot, that means the #4 slot is up for grabs, and that person will likley be in the mold of McCarthy and McMorris Rodgers. It's much easier to take tough stands on issues when you don't rub 78% of the country the wrong way, as Boehner and Cantor both did. The "masses", unfortunately, react as much to style as they do substance. Meaning no matter how good your message is, if you come across as a douchebag, the voting public will tune you out and your message will be lost. Reid and Pelosi are the same way on the other side. You want someone who can focus on the message and not get caught up in personalities. Being articulate and not prone to gaffes doesn't hurt either.

Every single one of those are pro-amnesty shills

McMorris-Rodgers went full on amnesty a few weeks ago

I can't see Gowdy. He seems standoffish and devisive. Also inexperienced relatively.
