Dr. Baden confirmed what we all saw. It was obvious. So how did the first coroner get it wrong?

The system is rigged. We all make fun of the ACLU and other liberal causes, but without their counterbalance, we’d live in a total police state.

I am not entirely sure why anyone would expect a coroner to put their govt job on the line by costing the county millions in damages by claiming police suffocated him.

Just shut up.

The guys heart could have exploded and the plaintiff’s “coroner” would have said he died from asphyxiation from the cop.

People are going to believe the autopsy results that helps their cause.

Maybe he didn't get it wrong. Perhaps the second "independent" autopsy wasn't so independent.

You can’t go around “coroner shopping”.

Baden always rules in favor of who’s paying him.

From what I've read on here, he may have not even really existed!

Because he is an officer of the court on the state's side...it is his duty, not officially but as part of the prosecution team normally but in this case part of the defense to make the state case for them....and the state's case is going to be that there was no wrong doing...if they have to simply mail in the prosecution....both the state and the defense is lawyering in these cases to make certain the defendant does not get convicted. The defense does it because it is their job. The state does it because the accused is part of the team and the team must be protected. This is how it works in ALL of these cases. Some of them are no doubt ones where the cop did nothing wrong....but many are the result of the state simply doing a less than adequate job in prosecuting the case so the team doesn't look bad. It is like asking a mafia soldier to rat out a don...it ain't happening often...the cop is a work mate of the prosecution....they are on the same team....so the prosecution takes it easy....happens all of the time...and they tell the public "we tried the cop....a jury failed to convict...." and that is all she wrote. This one may be different but it will be because of the mayhem that followed not because the state had a change of heart....and that is why the mayhem will continue to happen because without it the cop merely loses his job, if that.

The first one damn sure wasn't independent....it was the state performing an autopsy on a victim of state violence. Of course the state had no hand in the death of this man...the coroner said so.
