For me, I see it no different than if they'd singled out my family and called them baby killers personally. They are shitting on veterans no matter what they say. They can claim otherwise, but so can I. If you want my views, clicks, dollars, then don't shite on me and my beliefs. You could pick a thousand other ways to make your point, but you won't. So I won't be indulging you further with my patronage.

Simple.

The Gundy deal was the last straw for me. I have stopped giving a crap about any mainstream sport including college football. In fact, I am currently at a Disney Resort and their DTV has about 10 sports channels in a row. I speed scan past them as fast as I can. I don’t even want to see a second of a MLB, NBA, NFL or CFB coverage.

I’ve quit it all. I’m just done with it for the year. I’m sure I’ll tune in for a Saints or LSU Championship because it’s culture but beyond that, I’m done.

I even notified the fantasy group I quit. I’m out.

35 white male.

Michael Thomas is who actually turned it for me.

That guy makes $20 million per year and because of that, he now feels emboldened enough to make it plain that he hates me because of the color of my skin.

Well frick him. And frick the Saints organization, the NFL, and all of professional sports in general, because that racist prima donna jackass is just a microcosm. Professional sports is full of Mike Thomases. He’ll still make his $20 million and my meager contribution to that won’t be missed...but I’ll at least have the satisfaction of knowing that I’m not helping to pay him.

Go woke, get broke. frick all of them.

If they want to kneel, they can bend the knee to all of the fans that contribute to their salaries and allow some of them to get out of bad situations and join the top 1%. They will bend the knee if ratings across the board drop significantly and ownership locks them out to renegotiate their CBAs.

Been boycotting them for over a decade. Nothing to do with politics.

Yeah that whole situation was the point of no-return for me. Seeing almost anyone who wasn't a self-identified conservative jump onboard the hate train immediately. How entitled and shameless they all were, "You can't have an opinion.. also silence is violence!" And maybe worst of all was Brees caving in.. for what? He has frick you money. Just retire and save your dignity.

I really don’t care about people’s personal politics. I just hate the idea of every professional athlete thinking “they have a platform”. It reminds me of these idiots giving award speeches in Hollywood, but every dirn day.

What actually got me was the embracement of the BLM movement because it’s naturally Marxist. Then the societal pressure of people being bullied/shamed into bending the knee.

I have to gently skirt around those kind of corporate politics 9-5, M-F. I don’t feel like having to deal with it on saturdays and sundays too.

The people in this country have it pretty damn good compared to the rest of the world. I’ve been to some places. Places where livestock were running through the houses openly. America doesn’t understand injustice and poverty.

America is just in a desert. Life has gotten to the point where injustice is vogue and creating it is more rewarding than freedom. This nation is losing its identity. Giving these idiots a “platform” in my life just is so antithetical to my core principles. It’s become encroachment.

I’m not watching the NFL. Done with it.

Never watched the MLB or NBA to begin with. May try to get into the NHL though with that starting back up and I’ll still watch CFB, golf and soccer

But I think we are past that

I will boycott anyone or any business that supports communism and marxist groups, such as the BLM organization.
Marxism is NOT freedom, it is oppression for ALL.

Count me in as boycotting, and no we are NOT past this.
When these athletes and major leagues STOP supporting comminst organizations and when they stop disrespecting all people that shed blood for our country (The red in our flag represents the blood of all patriots that died protecting our freedom), then I will consider watching again. Until then, it is not over because they won't let it be over.

If you’re referring to the NBA, “great game” and “NBA regular season” are mutually exclusive terms.

1. I am boycotting the NBA because the Pels are not making the playoffs and I hate the way that the NBA has become the LeBron asskissing association presented by the People's Republic of China.

2. I have not decided if I am boycotting the NFL or not yet.

3. I might start watching more hockey.
