So who is boycotting pro sports for political reasons?

I ask this cause my neighbor and I are chilling having a beer and have the game on in the background. We had the volume on, but turned it off and put on music. Couldn’t stand hearing announcers talk about the political stuff
I told my neighbor that I don’t give a shite about the athletes political views. I’m just watching cause I enjoy sports and the competition.
I watch sport for that reason not their views on world issues.
I do realize boycotting might cut their ratings then cut their salaries, etc
But I think we are past that
I guess I’d care if they were running for office, but since the just care about the entertainment I can care less about their stances

By this time next year, we'll all realize that apathy in regard to today's politics, is not an option to indulge. BLM is the point of the Marxist revolt in this Nation. Don't matter that the MSM propaganda has worked on the simple folk. Check the history books per the last century to imagine where Marxist will go.
I really hate it for the Players who are forced by activist teammates into choosing a side; Brees is a prime example. But our Nation is not immune to Ideological war...or even pandemics for that matter.

I can separate politics from sports. Always have.
But, there's a difference between, "I want lower taxes and he wants higher taxes" vs "He is 100% behind the politics of vengeance and I and everyone I care about are his targets".
Your time and money allow that person to have influence. Influence they want to use to DIRECTLY harm you.
If you support that, you're basically the sports equivalent of a battered wife whose husband makes good money. You're like. "Well, he beats the frick out of me, but check out my diamond earrings!!!!"
