And considering Texas A&M is arguably the most conservative university in this conference (and the least LGBTQ-friendly, according to rankings on such issues), it always highlights those who just parrot and regurgitate nonsense.

Most all universities in the SEC are as progressive as can be. Way more so than the dudes who post here.

This is the main reason why Texas and Texas A&M’s endowments are extremely overinflated. They don’t have a higher amount of wealthy philanthropists compared to other universities, it’s because their government funnels absurd amounts of oil and gas revenue into the UT and A&M system. If it weren’t for oil, both of those universities would be poor as shite.

and oil is the connection with Bush and the middle east. Oil does seem to be the main driving force. But let's not kid ourselves about the Bush school at A&M. Pull that string. There's a reason ole George had an apartment there. Lots of big time names funneled in and out of that library complex.
