The got him on felony tax evasion... that means he's not fricked with the GF allegations.
GF died from an OD. this is well documented. Officers that were fired get their job back minus tax evading Chauvin.

Because they prosecutor will go for murder and, any lawyer will tell you, over charging makes stepping down a lot harder.

It was manslaughter from the jump.
MN has a weird definition for their murder 3 which basically reads like manslaughter.
Intent to kill would be very difficult to prove especially after viewing that footage.

Yeah and he deserves it. Assuming Floyd was going through narcotic induced cardiac arrest, Chauvin kneeling on the carotid did nothing but exacerbate that. Continuing to do so after the guy laid motionless for several minutes, and several minutes after EMS noted no pulse is what will make something stick on him.
I still don't see any evidence of any kind of racism from the cops. That looks to be completely made up.

Cop may be able to put on reasonable doubt that that wasn’t the cause of death (I don’t know whether the standard is proximate cause, contributing cause, or what).

The arresting officers did noting wrong. Fentanyl Floyd was high as a kite and died of a heart attack.

Chauvins big mistake was not just cuffing the guy while he was prone on the ground. that guy wasnt going anywhere if that were the case.
instead he chose to sit on him and ignore the guys pleas. Chauvin would be on the force right now if he had done just that. No first degree murder or manslaughter possible.
Something like this was bound to eventually happen in order for cops to just use common sense.
And i am in no way anti cop. i support them fully, but cops do what they want.

Floyd was complaining about breathing well before he was on the ground. He asked to be laid on the ground. He was high as a kite and tweaked out of his mind. He wasn’t resisting in a violent way but he wasn’t complaint. The cops had reason to be concerned about their safety and the public’s safety.
Floyd didn’t deserve to die. But it may have very well been a heart attack. He wasn’t singled out because he was black. He was high and Covid positive. That would explain the trouble breathing. That footage destroys the media narrative
