I get the point with the graph but why did it stop with us white folks in 1989? I'm almost positive there have been white nonmarital births since then. Maybe I missed something.

Until then, everything was literally “black and white”.
It took the great and enlightened leadership of Republican presidents Reagan and Bush to stop segregating everyone this way, and begin celebrating the diversity of America.

It appears that white was reclassified into non-Latino white and Latino whites are lumped into Latino. Probably started collecting more race/ethnicity data and split into more groups.

drive through Wisconsin a lot. Literally criss-crossed the state yesterday. Baws in the countryside don't just have yard signs up. They have 4' X 8' boards (professionally printed) out in front of the homesteads. Didn't see nearly as much of this in 2016.
Been here since '88 and never seen such enthusiasm about a candidate. Ever.

Prior to LBJ's "Great Society" 80% of black kids were raised in two parent homes. LBJ bought votes, enabled single parenting and fostered decline of two parent homes. The results were as disastrous as they where foolish. However, the left keeps pushing it for its contribution to subverting America.
