So Mitch says obama left playbook

Pretty sure this is one of those meaningless things like schools have a "plan" in case a school shooting happens.

Every nation in the world has a "plan" regarding some event. the real world is not of pen and paper though. The map is not the territory.

This virus has been spreading in America since december. The idea that we could have instituted a "playbook" to stop a virus is wishful thinkng and hasn't been effectively administered anywhere except south korea and taiwan, who had pre-existing SARS systems.

If this magical "playbook" existed, why did no european country have one that they used?

What was the anticipated reduction of deaths by following the “plan”? I’m asking because there was an anticipated 2.2M deaths and because of the what actions were taken, only 100,000, maybe, will die.....

Germany produced 1.6 million tests while the CDC fumbled thru Jan-Feb. Had we begun the process with even 1 million working tests, we'd have never shutdown. That was the plan.

We have had a National Pandemic Plan forever. The problem with the plan is you have to know what a real "life and death" pandemic looks like. When you can't get accurate data out of the WHO or the country of origin, you make bad decision.

The simple fact that the Chinese have played cover-up from day one tells me this Kung Flu was not a natural event. The Chinese were fricking around with biological weapons and it [accidently or not] got loose.
