The committee's work is most clearly aimed at the top brass at the Department of Justice who will decide whether to bring charges against Trump and members of his inner circle.

Zach is into the use of words. I noticed during the reporting on Jan. 6 thru Jan 30 that the news media NEVER said 'the attack on the Capitol' without using the adjective 'deadly'..

I kept waiting for them to tell me who shot whom. Finally I learn that one cop shot and killed an unarmed demonstrator. One cop died later of a heart attack because he was obese.

Did those people seem particularly well organized or have a group objective/well laid out plan for "over throwing democracy". For frick sake they weren't even armed which would seem to me like a crucial piece of overthrowing the government. It's been a year and a half...it's time for your dainty mind accept this wasn't an insurrection and doesn't rank among the worst moments in our country's history. It was a low end crowd riot that was halted in an hour.
