Sounds like the government will get a bright guy.

However, I’m about to graduate from LSU with a next December with degree in Poli Sci and a concentration in Government and Policy and sights on a tier one law school,

So you're going to law school and have zero clue on how to construct a sentence? Your parents or the government with our tax dollars, wasted some money. If you need a reference this board would be a great place to start. We got your back.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to say I'm black, and that I'd like to be a role model and help those that are disenfranchised. I feel that the best way to do this is by practicing law and being involved in politics at all levels. All that would do is open up one huge can of worms that I refuse to get into on this board. So I'll leave it at that, and seriously log off due to the undoubtedly insensitive comments to come. But the dialogue has been great.

Lol, debt shoudn't stop you from following your dream even if no one does anything about skyrocketing tuition prices; I already have to take loans out after having the highest level of TOPS and the PPG Lake Charles Scholarship every year just to go to my best in state public school.

And I know you'll all hate this, so i just wanted to antagonize yall by saying I'll either be working for a non profit or government entity so those loans (for the most part) will be forgiven. Thanks old dead guys contributing to the tax base

No wonder you want more taxes. You've never earned anything in your life.

This is starting to come together like a heather thread.

Insensitive comments may come, but they will have to do with arrogance exceeding experience. Nothing whatsoever to do with race.
It sounds like you'll be a great advocate someday though.

No problem. Look at schools that give scholarships.

Money in private hands is used more productively than money in government hands. The market smooths out a lot. A government never can know how much toothpaste to make. A market ebbs and flows much more efficiently.

come back in 10 years with LIFE experience under your belt. No offense, but you honestly have no idea about life. Your ideas, political beliefs, view of "damage to the planet" etc. is coming from books and others opinions. No real life experiences to make your own views.

You are taking about taxes and haven't even gotten a check yet. lol

On the other side, the corporate reductions and repatriation will, without a doubt, lead to a huge expansion of economic growth, which will mean more jobs and higher incomes for those same "put upon" families.

Yeah, repatriation worked so well last time.

GOPe, as always, has drawn up a great bill for the donor class that won't trickle down to everyone else. The middle class tax cut is small and gets smaller over time.
