Americans For Prosperity is evidently doing it in Louisiana, and the resident Jindal tool at the Advocate fully supports the strategy.

quote:

In complaining about some innocuous postcards, Secretary of State Tom Schedler has created a Seinfeldian kerfuffle: a controversy about nothing.

quote:

Indeed, with regard to mailers that list the recent ballot-participation history of individual voters, Schedler should thank the sponsoring group, Americans for Prosperity, not verbally spank them. As Louisiana’s chief election officer, Schedler should welcome efforts to encourage higher rates of honest voting by duly registered citizens.

I'd send over a fake pipe bomb with a note if you ever mail me again, I will send a real one next time. But make sure to mail from a town about 30 miles from yours...lol

Both sides send this out to neighborhoods where they expect to get votes.

The info is all public record.

Based on your neighborhood, you can tell which side sent it to you.

Do you live in a D or R neighborhood?

(lol at the "look at the evil Democrats" responses)

To me it would depend a lot on the letter. A letter that just states one's voting record and gets them thinking, is a lot different than one that threatens to send it to neighbors. One is informational, whole the other is confrontational, which I believe is counterproductive.

If y'all would just get in line and do what people like Tuba want you to do, they wouldn't have to send you to the gas chambers.
