Me too. I don't buy anything I'm not holding at least a year (if not much much longer), with so much information asymmetry it's REALLY hard to be a successful short term trader so I don't even bother. It's a great way to lose A LOT of sleep.
But the "taco trade" cat is kinda out of the bag at this point. Trump has lost most of his tarriff credibility and the market simply doesn't react the way it once did. When nobody believes he'll follow through the market doesn't react, the opportunity for "taco trades" are few and far between.
Just keep buying low fee ETFs with balanced exposure whenever you have some dry powder. Don't try and time the market, it never works out in the long run for non insiders like us

no, i just don't choose to live a life where i have to manufacture some sort of persecution that i do not feel, that is not a real "threat", and that i have to constantly live in fear of (b/c it's not real)...

He doesn’t have to deport everyone just shut off all govt welfare to them and they will leave on their own. Also, shut off fed funding to states that give illegals welfare. I could never imaging going to any country in the world and get welfare as a non citizen.

Understand what you’re saying. I’m in the same demographic, just older. My life in this world is closer to the end than the beginning. I do think Christianity & its teachings are not valued by the Democrats and they would destroy those principles to maintain power. Thankfully that agenda seems to be backfiring on them. I would like our country, which was formed based on Christian values, to preserve those underlying principles for my grandchildren.
