I mean, Biden didn't make ridiculous claims like he would do X and make some other country pay for it. Or how about the time Trump said if he were elected he would completely erase the national debt.

You make outlandish promises and folks are going to check up on them later.

It appears that California had the most work done on the new border wall.
The San Diego sector is basically sealed up tight.

A lot of work was done in AZ and New Mexico as well.
The El Paso, TX sector seen tons of work and is just about sealed up

If I were Biden, I’d finish it so the next candidates can’t make it part of their campaign promises

Steve Bannon stole money that was crowdsourced towards the wall yet he got pardoned by Trump.

Why would he tear it down? He was adamant that walls don't work anyway, so what would be the point?

Do you know how large the border is and what consists of that border over that span of miles?

GOP Congressman Will Hurd, who at the time represented a district with the largest border shared with Mexico among House Reps even called Trump's border wall measure the least effective method. He called it a waste of money and that those funds could be better spent for other security measures on the border, particularly on technology such as radar and drones.

He also said people would get their land seized by the Government along the border via eminent domain and it would create a massive legal issue with people losing their land.

And he was right.

But you got so many people that don't have a clue about something that doesn't directly impact them, and they hear a catchy phrase, and they go along with it.

Trump was very clear numerous times about the geological diversity of the southern border and due to that there were stretches that wouldn't require wall. And as far as eminent domain, that's not a rare practice, states and the federal government have to seek it more commonly than people think....on local, state and federal levels. Last but not least, as for the effectiveness of a border wall....it's not like the United States is the only country that's ever utilized that measure. Many, many countries around the world have done same and continue to do same, so I'll go with that reality over some random GOP Congressman, regardless where his district lies.

Just a differing take on all that...

Not a coincidence that these shills choose Bama as their "team" and post here.

Good observation - in other words; Bama fans don't wear tinfoil hats.

You guys always crying about conspiracies, whether it's the refs, SEC offices, etc. No surprise you believe in ridiculous worldwide conspiracies, too.

All but about 50 miles was painting or repairing what was already there. And what was built under Trump cost about 5 times more per mile than what was built under previous administrations. He really sucks at building things and making deals. A lot of the money was taken from military counter-narcotics operation that might have actually inconvenienced the cartels. This wall won't bother them a bit.
