10% less than reported? 20%?

i think 10-15% would be a fair guess

I'd have to see how they are really counting this. Because someone at 20,000 feet says all people who die with, not from, covid are counted as covid deaths doesn't really mean that's what's happening on the ground throughout the country.

Read somewhere that up to 75% of deaths reported in Italy of Kung Flu were misreported. Not sure how accurate that was though.

Yeah, guidance is issued from 20,000 feet on how to count this, so yes more than likely that is the manner in which it is being counted...

Not really. Guidance was to hold off on Plaquenil, but it has been used in NOLA hospitals since at least March 19th.

I've been subtracting 10% from their totals but think it could be as high as 17%.

So you think hospitals are changing diagnosis codes on patients charts based on nothing?

It's probably a bit less than they are saying but I can guarantee you that it's a hell of a lot less than left wingers were wishing for.

Surprised this title is still showing KF. Mine got edited when I used that.

Not really bent about it. Just thought it was odd to be told it sounded childish on this board.

Are we talking about people dying “from” Covid? Or people dying “with” Covid? I’d go with 0 for “from” and whatever the number is now for “with”.

No.

Based on the directive from the CDC

I do believe that there are people that are now dead as of 4/8 that would not have died if there wasnt a china virus.

That being said...i havent seen national numbers for "normal" deaths. Are we still seeing 1800/1900 cardiovascular related deaths a day nationwide? Etc. I think there is a large enough sample of the ordinary causes of death to see if a drop in those numbers exist is significant and can be attributed to a reclassification

What i would like to see is what malpractice issues are being covered by an overarching "death by...with...something something Covid19"

The CDC issues the guidance on how this stuff is counted dumbass, so if someone at 20,000 feet says to count it this way, then that is the way it is counted...

Your anecdotal evidence is not evidence that it is not or is not currently being counted that way...
