So are we to believe that the FBI had confidential human assets embedded with MAGA Jan 6?

Tucker has devoted a complete segment of his show the past two nights claiming that the FBI had some of their assets embedded in the MAGA/America First crowd on Jan 6, 2021. Tucker also reported this operation took weeks of planning by the FBI. Keep the previous information in mind and if you recall, President Trump had offered the Mayor of DC Federal assistance to bolster security in an around the Capitol building for Jan 6, 2021, Trump's offer was declined.

Now back to the FBI. This agency knew there was going to be hundreds of thousands of pissed off/concerned Americans in DC on Jan 6, 2021 but rather than getting together with Capitol police, the Mayor of DC, Nancy Pelosi and others who could have helped to make decisions to bolster security for the Jan 6, 2021 crowds, instead it appears the FBI was more concerned with making sure they had assets in the MAGA crowd to help agitate the pissed off Americans by partaking in the faux insurrection.

Are we to believe the FBI was completely clueless about potential violence occurring on Jan 6, 2021 or were they more concerned about getting the right people embedded into the MAGA/America First crowd that they failed to warn the proper people in our government of potential crowd control issues?

Or maybe there was some discussion between the FBI and government officials, including the DC Mayor of potential violence on Jan 6, 2021 and a decision was made to stand down and let the melee play out? Whatever the reason for disregarding Trump's offer for additional security it's obvious the mayor of DC and members of our federal government decided additional security was not needed or wanted. This carelessness by the FBI, DC Mayor and our government is indeed strange and raises another question. Is Tucker Carlson correct when he says the FBI was instrumental in the Jan 6, 2021 faux insurrection?
