The worst parts of any field exercise, training rotation, deployment...hell, even a TDY trip, are the beginning and the end.

Everything in between you can put your mind and body on autopilot.

I used to get a chuckle out of people who had their campaign medal on their license plate. Not anymore. Going to get the OEF campaign medal for my license plate so I can send a big "F you" to this administration for the way they bungled the withdrawal.

All the rest of the individual awards I have on my rack (two Legions of Merit, a Bronze Star for service and ten Meritorious Service Medals) are nothing compared to that one moment in my military career.

And I got nothing compared to your multiple combat deployments.

I disagree.

1. You have a star on your NDSM.

2. You have at least a 2 if not more on your OSR.

3. If you deployed to Afghanistan, you have a NATO Medal.

4. You have a GWOT-S.

5. You have a GCM with a clasp IIRC.

6. If you deployed to Desert Storm you have a SWASM.

7. I'm sure you have a GWOT-E, maybe even a star.

I'm sure there's more. Back to my earlier question, do we get both the campaign medal and commemorative medals retroactively put on our DD214?

No, the USA will not get involved into the Russian conflict. Biden is a puppet of Putin and they have an under the table alliance. It's pretty obvious by how much has his presidency benefited Russia.

And even if it wasn't, Biden is a weakling incapable of gettingo into the conflict.

Provide necessary documentation to HRC and they will provide you a DD 215 with the update/correction. Had to do that for my CAB which was awarded retroactively.

That's the thing. I can't find any references that talk about who is authorized the commemorative medals.

JBird's deployment record makes mine look paltry.

you need to listen to what I'm saying, you wouldn't have been accepted in the combat arms world. there are so many people who go AWOL because they can't handle waking up at 4 everyday to run 6 miles, going on long Ruck Marches that form permanent calluses under your feet.

That's 75% of the Army.. Whether combat arms or not. Not saying the infantry life ain't tough, but thats not one of those things that makes it 'tough'.

Base on what you said earlier about the NATO medal, I could request an update to my record to reflect it and be issued a DD 215. Not worth the effort. Spent nearly $75 at Medals of America to get my final/retirement rack perfect (added my retirement LOM). I am done with it.

The entire Afghanistan mission after 2002 is considered a NATO Training Mission. It's either NATO-ISAF or NATO-Freedom Sentinel.

The fact that you don't have this tells me that your S1/G1 section was complete flaming garbage.

Given that you have 2 Legions of Merit, does that mean that the entirety of your Army Career was only slightly more impactful on the service as a whole than Beau Biden's was?
