Reporter on Fox said that he talked to a student at ND and the student said there wasn't much buzz about this walkout on campus and that it was organized mostly by outsiders to stir things up and inject their own politics.

The group coming up behind them is the most conservative in 80 years.
And although we like to place people into generational cohorts, the views for a 18 years old millenials are probably much closer to 16 year olds in the next generational cohort than the 30+ year olds in the millenial cohort.

frick them, should go through the student conduct handbook and find a way to keep them from receiving their degree.
Clearly they aren't equipped to be leaving as college graduates at this point if they can't respect a man as goodhearted as Mike Pence.

Can't wait to see what happens when u get a job and hate your boss. Are you just going to walk out? Why even bother showing up if you are just going to walk out? I know the parents of there kids had to be disappointed along with the family members who showed up to seem the walk.

Disagree. They completed the required coursework and rightfully earned their degree.
They're closed-minded, and it's downright silly to throw away your commencement ceremony when you'll never get it back, but they earned their diplomas and the right to walk out in a non disruptive manner.

I'm a graduate student at Notre Dame and I knew the walkout was going to happen. It doesn't seem like there were many students that participated in it. Not too surprising since the students here seem to be more on the conservative end of the spectrum.

It was disrespectful to the VP, the school, the other students, and everyone there. There are times and places to protest and this wasn't appropriate. This was just a bunch of self centered crybabies not thinking of anyone else but themselves. I expect nothing less from the participation trophy generation.
