SNL has been a total joke forever. With one exception, I haven't watched them in over a decade. The one exception I made was when Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016. I tuned in out of curiosity to see if they would give the "hometown New York boy" Trump his due credit for making history by winning the Presidency in his first political campaign ever.
What I saw was arguably the most shameful moment in SNL history. Instead of giving credit to Trump, the cold opening that night consisted of Kate McKinnon, dressed as Hillary Clinton, playing the piano and singing "Hallelujah."
In other words, instead of focusing on what Trump had accomplished they actually tried to make a martyr out of Hillary Clinton, one of the worst human beings on the planet. And obtw, she was also the LOSER to Trump.
SNL has been TOTAL CRAP FOREVER.
