. IAEA has inspected the Iranian locations for compliance. They exist. They had help from NK and maybe Pakistan.
None of that is speculation like Iraq.
How does Israel do in those inspections?
And why is the official US position that Iran hasn't restarted it's program?

You obviously don't understand the stupidity of this question.

How fast and how much? Make your call.
I don't believe Israel takes Iran to war unless they're absolutely, positively certain the US will fight with them.
Here's my call.
The US is dropping bombs by July 1st or 2nd, no later. Boots on the ground by late August.

Well point it out to me cowboy.
I mean I already know the answer, I just want to hear you say it.

Your call is we will have troops on Iranian soil?

No way will there ever be boots on the ground. They will just bomb the shite out of them. Troops at near by bases would be in the most danger due to responses.
The terrain of Iran is no joke. Ground units there is a losing situation. It's a huge fricking country of mostly mountains with a population over 100 million people.
And they are not strangers to going to war either, they found against a US backed Iraq for many years. Iraq got those "WMD" from the US to use on Iran.
But with bases on both sides, they could bomb them pretty easily.

It’s the lesson we refuse to learn about the Middle East. Every time we intervene and topple a regime, something worse emerges.

Another poster addressed your first question. I’ll address the second:
When you pause a program that is only weeks/months away from nuclear delivery, it’s as good as done.
I think the key is they refused to negotiate. Cant leave them on the brink with no intent at transparency.

No they didn't. He won't do it and you won't answer it because you know damn good and well Israel refuses to allow such inspections or even acknowledge their secret stockpile of nuclear weapons.

Why should they negotiate? If the roles were reversed I wouldn't want our leaders to negotiate at all. People have a God given right to defend themselves. That includes both Israel and Iran.
Have you ever looked at it in terms of how you would react if another country tried to do these things to us?

This is always the problem. When you blow up an Autocratic state. How do you handle the population?
Posted on 6/17/25 at 8:26 pm to John Barron
The entire middle east is a cluster....always will be.

I think so. You can't have regime change without subduing the population, and there’s no way the Muslim world would allow Jews to do that. There won't be an invading Jewish army on Iranian sand. It'll have to be American or some sort of bullshite "coalition of the willing".
It looks like this shite's about to get rolling. There won't be any half measures, not for a while at least.

The same bullshite claims that were made to get us into Afganistan and Iraq.
We spent trillions of dollars and spent 20 years to replace the Taliban with the Taliban, and Iraq was a disaster.
Iran is a country with like 100 million people and worse terrain and resistance than either of those.
It would be a huge failure.
