You made an analogy comparing the abstraction of a persons opinion of having a "right" to be in this country, with the objective reality of a person being seriously injured. If the person was killed by the falling beam, others could seek valid recourse in the legal system. Apples to oranges imo.

Dreamers literally risk their lives to be here the trek across the border is long and dangerous. Making that journey is their way of saying that they want to be an American, that they're risking their lives
